The goal of the Social Justice Committee is to provide opportunities for members of the St. Francis of Assisi community to become active partners in pursuit of justice as well as charitable works. The numerous activities of this committee are divided into three groupings: Direct Service, Advocacy and Empowerment, and Education. Those categories are broken down below, though we've surely missed something!
The Social Justice Committee meets on some Friday afternoons at 4:30 P.M. in the rectory. We welcome new and old members to join us! If you can't join us as a full-time member, but have an issue you would like to see addressed within our parish family or a special project we can support, please email Nancy at eire52@aol.com or call 410.419.5529. Absolutely All Are Welcome!
